Products
Below are some common questions about the materials, craftsmanship and care of our products
At Mati, we exclusively use high-quality materials for all of our rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. That means solid, 14-karat, 18-karat gold and platinum. Our diamonds are natural as well as lab-grown. For any custom requests regarding the gold or diamond please reach out to us at hello@mati-jewelry.com
Our gold will not fade, as it is solid gold. However, gold plated jewelry will fade over time, and affect the color of the jewelry. At Mati, we specifically use 14K and 18K solid gold to provide our clients with high quality pieces of jewelry that resist time, and can be passed onto generations.
Lab-grown diamonds are created using cutting-edge technology that replicates natural growing conditions in a lab. This results in diamonds that are chemically and physically identical to ones that come from mine.
Lab diamonds are real diamonds, identical in chemical composition to mined diamonds. Not even an expert gemologist is able to tell a lab-grown diamond apart from a mined one.
Yes, both our natural and lab-grown diamonds are certified by GIA and IGI. For our lab-grown diamonds we certify any stone above 1 carat, while our natural diamonds are certified from 0.50 carat up. For any specific certification request, please reach out to us directly at hello@mati-jewelry.com.
The easiest way to clean your Mati jewelry at home would be to fill a bowl with 2 cups warm water and several drops mild dish detergent. Soak your jewelry in the solution for 15 minutes. Scrub the gold jewelry with a soft baby toothbrush or a cotton swab then rinse it with water.
